2011 was good to us. Rob started pharmacy school this summer. He has finished two quarters. He has to study a lot but he is learning a ton of information and doing well. I am grateful for all of his hard work. Whenever I feel tired of being a grown up I think to myself "Would I want to switch places with him?" my answer is always "No way!". I started working for an optometrist office this year. I really like the office and the people I work with. If you need a eye check-up I know a good place :)

Well, we are not just boring, we did have some fun this year too. The highlight was our trip to California this summer. We met all of the Jones family in Cali. for Grandma Jones's surprise birthday party. It was a special weekend to celebrate with Grandma. If you don't know my grandma you are missing out. She is pretty much the perfect grandma that you read about it stories but she is real! We partied at Disneyland of course with all of my siblings and their kids. Stefani and Andy came to visit in the fall. We also had visits from Heather, Sawyer and Rachelle. We love when our family decides to fly into Phoenix because they have to stop by to see us. A few weeks ago Rob got to take a break from school and go to San Diego and LA with his family. They went to the Zoo and to Knott's Berry Farm. I was so glad when Natalie and Weston said they would come keep me company because I had to work while Rob went on his vacation. Over the year we also saw family in St. David. We love it when we can sneak down on long weekends to visit our families.

We are not worried about the world ending in 2012, even though that movie where they cheat death a million times seemed pretty convincing. We have had such a wonderful year this year and cannot wait to see what next year brings. We are so grateful for the Savior who makes all of our blessings possible. We are so blessed with the gospel and with amazing people in our lives. Thank you all for the support and love you give to us. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Cali Trip!!

So we went to California for a Surprise birthday for my Sweet Grandma Jones. She was so excited and surprised to see everyone show up. It was so good to see all of the Jones family! When we first heard about the surprise party we thought for sure we wouldn't be able to go since Rob just started school. But guess what?? He had the Friday of the weekend of the party off from school! I am so glad that we were able to make it out there. All of my (Camille, incase you didn't know I was the one who blogged hehe) siblings were in Cali for the celebration. When I say ALL I mean it all 10 of my siblings and spouses and children were there. It was a blast! Of course you can't go to California and not go to Disneyland and the beach. Here are just a few of the pictures from the super fun weekend we had.

This is the little house we are living in while Rob is going to school. Rob's parents are amazing and have given this house life again. Now it is such a happy house and we are happy to be living in it! Here are some BEFORE and AFTER pictures. I did not put up the bedrooms yet because they are too dirty right now for me to take after pictures. And I spent forever getting the before and after side by side but then of course when it goes on the blog it is all messed up, stinky. So just try and figure out what pictures go together.

DINING ROOM new light fixture, dark curtains to keep out the heat, and what you can't see too well is the slate floors that Rob's parents worked hard to even out and seal.

My favorite THE FIREPLACE because it would be too hard to take the tile off, Rob's mom just painted the tiles and built around it.

Painted the nasty blue window cut out, and what you can't see very well is the ceiling. It was just dry wall at first, and then Rob's dad textured and painted it.

Not much has changed the last few months. We are just waiting to move and for Rob to start Pharmacy School. We are both working full time and are not home often. He is working at Walgreens Pharmacy which is great experience for school, I work at a Montessori school. We are on very different scheduals which we do NOT like:( I work 8am-5pm and Rob works 12-8pm and he is working most Saturdays. When he does have a Saturday off we make sure to do something fun. A few weekends ago when he had a Saturday off we went to the temple, ate out, and went to the Museum of Natural History, and saw Hellogoodbye in concert. Other than that our lives are pretty much all about work. We both got the cold that is going around everywhere. We had it for a month until we finally gave in and went to the doctor, gotta love a z-pack! We are both so happy to be feeling better again. We can't wait to move and start school. I am really excited for Rob to get started with school. Hopefully our scheduals will be more alike. It will be nice to get a feel for what life will be like the next few years. I'm kinda dreading getting a new job, I love where I work right now. I'm struggling with deciding to study and take the Pharmacy technician test or to work at a school and do an education degree online. Pharmacy tech will make more money now but I would love to have a degree and I love working with kids. Anyways, here are some recent pictures.

I decided since it has been a WHOLE YEAR since my last post, it was about time to tell the world what we've been up to :] We both finished up at EAC in the spring. I graduated with my Associates and Rob finished all of his pre-requisites for Pharmacy School. We moved up to Gilbert to find work. We LOVE Gilbert. We are in a great ward and we love living in a city. We serve in the nursery in our ward... senior nursery that is (great because most of them are potty-trained)and we love it. Rob is working as a teller for Chase bank and is hoping to get on at a pharmacy, for some experience, sometime soon. I am working at a Montessori School. I work with the 3-6 year-olds. I have never loved a job so much. It is so fun to work with little children. They are so funny and make work go by super fast. We are so grateful to have jobs in this rough economy. We have been SO blessed this year. This summer Rob applied for Pharmacy School. He applied to 13 different schools hoping that he would get into one. He was invited to every school for an interview! He interviewed in Glendale, AZ; Savannah, GA and Johnson City, TN because those were the first invites he received. It was such a fun trip that we took out to Georgia and Tennessee. He was accepted to all three of those schools so canceled the interviews with the other 10 schools. We are so excited that we can stay near family while he goes to the 3-year school here in Glendale! He is really going to be a Pharmacist in a few years!!! We loved going on a little late honeymoon to the south for his interviews though. It was a fun week in a beautiful part of the country. We loved Savannah and were tempted to move out there for school. It has been a great year of blessings for us. We will be celebrating our 2-year anniversary next month. It has been an amazing 2 years! We are grateful for our Savior at this time of year. We are grateful for the blessings that Heavenly Father blesses us with. It has been a year of thanksgiving this year for us in realizing all the things that the Lord gives to us. Merry Christmas! It's my new years resolution to post more than one time next year ;)

This is at Olympic Square in Atlanta. Atlanta is a HUGE city, not sure if I'd want to live there, but there's is a lot to see and do on a visit. We went to the World of Coke Museum, the GA aquarium, Olympic Square and the Olympic Dome.

In Downtown Savannah (the most beautiful city I have ever seen0. It is gorgeous with the big oak trees covered in moss, the 1700's buildings, the river walk, and a beach 15 min. away! Can you see why it temped us?! The picture at the top of the blog is in the Park in downtown Savannah. We went on our trip in mid-October so the trees everywhere were beautiful colors. We were able to see a lot of the south as we flew into NC and drove through SC to GA and back up to TN. I LOVE the south!

Stefani's Wedding

Rob's sister Stefani was married December 22nd. She married Rob's friend from the MTC, Rob always says that they owe him their first born because he got them together... then he remembers that it is because of her that we are together. So instead of giving each other our first born children we will both just keep our own child to stay even.

The wedding was beautiful. The weather was perfect. It was overcast most of the day and that made for some wonderful pictures.

Stefani was a beautiful bride. It was really special to see them married in the temple.

Everything went perfect until the storm came in. Luckily it didn't rain until after the pictures, but because of the bad weather there was a horrible accident on I-10 and the road was closed from about 1pm until 10pm! The reception was at 7pm so we had to get back. It took hours to get home taking a detour through Florence. Andy's (the groom) family was unable to make it to the reception as the road was closed and they left later than us from mesa, plus they were going to stay the night in mesa that night after the reception. So it was really sad that they missed coming down to St. David for the reception. I was really sad on the drive home and was telling Rob that if I were Stef I would be balling! She was very sweet and handled everything really well, even though we were all 15min. late to the reception. She got ready in like 10 min., put on a smile and was a beautiful happy bride even with the day taking a horrible turn. The good thing is everyone in both families are safe and Stefani is married to a wonderful guy in the temple and that is all that matters. We love you Stef! As you can see she is completely gorgeous and in complete bliss!

Sorry! I haven't updated this thing forever! This isn't gonna be a good update either because i just don't have time in my life right now! It is crazy with both of us working and going to school. Rob has been studying like crazy for O-Chem, Calculus and the PCAT! Crazy1 Anyways here are some past-due birthday pics and some from when heather came down. Sorry I'm lame but this is all I've got... blogs are boring when you don't have a baby do show off:)

this was downtown scottsdale it was so cute with twinkle lights across the roads and fountains everywhere....very romantic. We walked around for a while then ate at PF changs!

The next day we went to the new water park and had a blast! I'm sure it is the most fun thing to do in super hot pheonix!

Heather and her girls came down a while ago. We had fun at chads feeding chickens, playing hide and seek and eating really good food.

Mallory hid in the bathroom cupboard, sydney and maddie couldn't find her so she was hidding for a long time so chad brought her a snack...brownie batter! It was so funny when we opened the cupboard and she was just chillin' eating batter.

We had such a fun vacation to california last week! We went to Disneyland/California Adventure for two days, stayed in a nice hotel, went swimming, eat out at the cheesecake factory, went to Knott's Berry Farm with Elise, went to the Santa Monica Beach, and had lots of fun staying with Grandma and Grandpa Jones playing games eating and vistiting. It was the perfect break after a busy year of college!

SPRING BREAK!!!

We went to St. David for the week of spring break to watch on Rob's little brothers while Rob's parents were in Italy. We had a blast relaxing, playing tennis (real tennis not just the wii), sleeping in, having fires outside, swimming at the Cove, playing Lego's, watching tv, fixing cars (thanks dad!), and hanging out with family.

This is on our way to the Cove, Weston came with us and we met Leah at the mall after! It was a fun day, I love swimming!

Guitar Hero! Jacob is the one with the white wig on. Me and Rob recorded us playing but the video wouldn't work. (Rachelle I know you have the same phone, and you have video's on your blog so if you can help me that would be great!)Weston hung out at the Bryants with us a lot. This was our outside night.

The best part about having a fire was that Rob brought out his guitar and just played while we all made up songs. It was hilarious! My favorite song was made up by Weston "Fire in her Eyes" a song about Weston burning the house down. I also loved Austin's dance to Soulja Boy with is legs in his shirt. Funny boys making up their own songs is the best entertainment!

This is a picture of "the half-ton teen!" Freaky huh! We watched this on TV along with the show about a man that weighed 1031lbs!!! Stefani and I did sit ups the whole time while we watched those nasty freaky fat men! A good way to get motivated to work out ;)

Lego contest! Robs in on the left mine is on the right...Rob didn't get too into it, but Stef and I played Lego's a couple times the first few days we were there. I forgot how much fun it is!

We did extreme makeover apartment addition... i think it looks a lot better ;) here are some before and after pictures so you can see for yourself. When we got the apartment there was black oil stains on the carpet, holes in the walls, no doors, nasty dirty germs everywhere, and the whole place smelled like pot!!! Needless to say we fixed it all up with new carpet, patches, paint, lots of cleaning, and all the wedding stuff we got to decorate!

Well after a lot of thought I have decided that Heather is right and that I needed to start a blog and now that Rob and I have high speed internet in our apartment I have no excuses. Now that I think I have figured out how this blog thing works I can add some stuff without getting frusterated.
